Predatory Deer

Keep an eye on the deer! Some of them are not what they seem. The predator deer appears in deer herds, taking the place of one of them. It always has two stars.

It appears in the Meadows and the Black Forest. The predator replaces a deer in a herd, at most one per herd. In a herd of one deer its chance is 50%, in a herd of two 75%, in a herd of three or more it always appears. Deer herds are more common in the mod: a 75% chance instead of 50%, every 100 seconds, up to 4 head.

Spotting prey within 15 metres, it speeds up and swallows when close. There is a pause after the attack. It will not swallow prey larger than 5. Its stomach volume is 6. If new prey does not fit in its stomach, it stops attacking until it digests what is inside.

It is friends with normal deer and boars. It attacks everyone else.
