The tenth world is hungry. In Vorehalla its monsters do not kill you - they swallow you whole, and now you have to find your way back out.
What it is
Predators that now wait for you everywhere
Vorehalla remakes a great many of the game's mobs into predators. Instead of taking damage from an attack - a mouth, a throat and a stomach: you are shut inside it, and you have to get out any way you can!
Nothing about the rest of the game is taken away. You keep your gear, your skills and your world; the mod only adds new vore content and shifts the balance of a fight a little.

From the meadows to the one that waits in the far north, half of Valheim's monsters now have a new interaction. Some snatch you out of the air, others swallow you where you stand, others grab you and stuff you into their mouth.
Next you end up in a stomach. It is unique to a great many of the predators, differing in color, size, effects and digestion speed. Inside you can see the other creatures your predator has swallowed, and from the outside its belly visibly grows with every creature it gulps.
Digestion does not happen instantly, which means you have time. Fight the walls from the inside and you can force your way back. Or wait, and find out what being eaten really means!
Ocean biome
The sea is no longer empty
The ocean got a world of its own. Under the waves there is now rich underwater life: fish and crabs, turtles and mantas, forests of seaweed, coral and sponges on the seabed - and new creatures, some of them very hungry.
You can dive now. Swimming and stamina were reworked around it: you can rest while floating, diving and staying under water cost stamina, and you can fight right in the water - swing, block and dash.
The sea feeds and equips you: new resources on the seabed, seaweed and sushi, a mead for long dives and skills to stay under longer. And somewhere on the bottom lie sunken ships with chests nobody has opened yet.
Under water the world looks different: the light from the surface fades with depth, sounds turn muffled, and the deeper you go, the darker it gets. Keep glancing down - something might be reaching for you from there.
Progression
Vore is a skill, and it grows
Press V to swallow your prey, and B to let it out!
Vore earns experience, and experience turns into vore points. Spend them in the vore skills window - it opens with a button in your inventory.
There are five directions: predator skills, prey skills, combat, movement and household. Grow a roomier stomach and a faster digestion - or learn to resist the acid and break free. Or simply become stronger, faster and handier in everyday life.
Points come from both sides of the belly. As a predator you earn them for prey digested to the end - the stronger the prey, the more. As prey you earn them while a stomach digests you: everything you endure inside counts, even if you never get out.
Every skill has its own limit you can level it up to, and each next point takes a little more experience. Points keep coming after that - they will wait for the skills still to come.
Already levelled vore in an earlier version? Your progress is not lost: levels above the new limits are cut back, and the points come back to you.
And there are vore perks: unlock one for 5 vore points in the perks window and keep up to three of them active at a time.
Camera
See it from outside - and from inside
F3, F4 and F6
A third-person camera is there for both sides of the belly - for the predator and for the prey.
As a predator, press F3 to look into your own stomach and see everyone you have swallowed. As prey, press F4 to fly the camera outside and look at the one who ate you.
Press F6 to hide the HUD and take a clean, beautiful screenshot.
Multiplayer
All of it works in multiplayer!

- Everyone sees it
- A full belly is not a private effect. Other players see you stuffing your little belly, and watch it change shape as it fills.
- Players can swallow players
- With the rules of the server respected, a person can take another person - and let them back out whole, or not quite.
- What the swallowed one lends
- Someone carried in your stomach gives part of their skills to whoever ate them. The faster you digest your prey, the more skills you get.
- Talking through the belly
- The prey's words appear above the predator, and the predator's words reach inside the stomach - so the two of you can easily talk while one is inside the other.
HBelly rubs
Everything is on the H key: stroke your own belly, another player's belly from the outside - or from the inside, if you are the one in their stomach. A friend rubbing your belly along with you helps you digest your prey faster.
Customization
Play it your way
Configure your predators
Vorehalla suits pred-only players, prey-only players and safe vore lovers alike.
In the menu, next to the world selection, you can turn off the predators you do not want to see in the predator role, and set how hard digestion is: no damage, normal or hardcore.
You can also turn off mob predators for particular players: type
vorehalla_pred_only
in the console, and nobody will swallow you - attacks will simply hit instead.
Your own stomach
As a predator you can set up your own stomach too. The Stomach size button in the vore skills window opens it: the size and height of the room, how much fluid sloshes inside, and the colour of the walls, the fluid and the light. Whoever sits inside sees every change at once.
Server
The official Vorehalla server
Play Vorehalla together on the mod's official server. It runs handy add-ons for roleplay and character customization, and it is friendly to new players.
The server IP and password are posted in the #news-and-updates channel on our Discord. To join, install the server plugin next to Vorehalla.

Better Valheim
Better Valheim is an optional client-side mod that adds a lot of optimizations to the game, rewrites shaders and makes the game and the world load almost 2 times faster!
The mod is highly configurable: every setting can be changed or turned off. You don't have to download it, it's just a nice bonus for you!

Vorehalla 1.3
Two files in one folder: the mod itself and an installer that finds your game, puts the loader in place and drops everything where it belongs. If you already have a mod loader, you can simply drag the mod file in yourself. Do not forget to close the game before installing.
